EXTRAORDINARY PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 92] NEW DELHI, TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 21, 2023/PHALGUNA 2, 1944 MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, FOREST AND CLIMATE CHANGE NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 21st February, 2023 G.S.R. 114(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (c) of sub-section (2) of section 25 read with section 8 of the Commission for Air Quality Management in National Capital Region and Adjoining Areas Act, 2021 (29 of 2021), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Commission for Air Quality Management in National Capital Region and Adjoining Areas (Appointment, Salary, Allowances and other Terms and Conditions of Service of Chairperson, Full-time Members and Member-Secretary) Rules, 2021, namely:— 1. Short title and commencement.— (1) These rules may be called the Commission for Air Quality Management in National Capital Region and Adjoining Areas (Appointment, Salary, Allowances and other Terms and Conditions of Service of Chairperson, Full-time Members and Member-Secretary) Amendment Rules, 2023. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Commission for Air Quality Management in National Capital Region and Adjoining Areas (Appointment, Salary, Allowances and other Terms and Conditions of Service of Chairperson, Full-time Members and Member- Secretary) Rules, 2021 (herein after referred to as the said rules), after rule 16, the following rule shall be inserted, namely:— “17. Medical Facility.— The Chairperson and Members other than ex-officio Members shall be entitled to the medical facilities as provided in the Central Service (Medical Attendance) Rules, 1944.”. 3. In rule 6 of the said rules, for the words “one lakh rupees”, the words “one lakh rupees per annum” shall be substituted. 4. In Form-I of the said rules, for the brackets, words and figures “(see rule 15)”, the brackets, words and figures “(see rule 14)” shall be substituted. NARESH PAL GANGWAR, Addl. Secy.
