EXTRAORDINARY PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 681] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2022/ASVINA 15, 1944 MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, FOREST AND CLIMATE CHANGE NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 6th October, 2022 G.S.R. 767(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (9) of section 11 read with the clause (f) of sub-section (2) of section 25 of the Commission for Air Quality Management in National Capital Region and Adjoining Areas Act, 2021 (29 of 2021), the Central Government, in consultation with the Commission for Air Quality Management in National Capital Region and Adjoining Areas, hereby makes the following rules to amend the Commission for Air Quality Management in National Capital Region and Adjoining Areas (salaries, allowances and conditions of service of the officers and staff of the Commission) Rules, 2022, namely:— 1. (1) These rules may be called the Commission for Air Quality Management in National Capital Region and Adjoining Areas (salaries, allowances and conditions of service of the officers and staff of the Commission) Amendment Rules, 2022. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Commission for Air Quality Management in National Capital Region and Adjoining Areas (salaries, allowances and conditions of service of the officers and staff of the Commission) Rules, 2022, in the Schedule,— (a) relating to the post of ‘Under Secretary’, in column (11), in the heading ‘Deputation’, in clause 1, in sub-clause (c), for the words “Eight years’”, the words “Six years’” shall be substituted; (b) relating to the post of ‘Section Officer’, in column (11), in the heading ‘Deputation’, in clause 1, in sub-clause (b), for the words, figures, brackets and letters, “Eight years’ regular service in the level 7 (Rs. 44900-142400) in the pay matrix or ten years”, the words, figures, brackets and letters, “Five years’ regular service in level 7 (Rs. 44900 – 142400) in the pay matrix or eight years’ ”, shall be substituted; (c) relating to the post of ‘Assistant Section Officer’, in column (10), for the entry, the entry “Deputation failing which direct recruitment.” shall be substituted; (d) relating to the post of ‘Private Secretary’, in column (11), in the heading ‘Deputation’, in clause 1, in sub-clause (b), for the words, figures, brackets and letters, “Eight years’ regular service in the level 7 (Rs. 44900-142400) in the pay matrix or Ten years’”, the words, figures, brackets and letters, “Five years’ regular service in level 7 (Rs. 44900-142400) in the pay matrix or eight years’” shall be substituted; (e) relating to the post of ‘Personal Assistant’, in column (10), for the entry, the entry “Deputation failing which direct recruitment.” shall be substituted; (f) relating to the post of ‘Junior Translator (OL)’, in column (10), for the entry, the entry “Deputation failing which direct recruitment.” shall be substituted.
