National Dam Safety Authority

NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 17th February, 2022 S.O. 758(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 8 of the Dam Safety Act, 2021 (41 of 2021), the Central Government hereby establishes an Authority to be known as the National Dam Safety Authority to discharge the powers and functions of the National Authority under the said Act, and hereby appoints the 18th February, 2022 as the date on which the said Authority shall come into force.
