The 19th June 2023 S.O. 223, date 20th June 2023--In exercise of power conferred by Section- 42 (2) and Section-42 (3) of Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Services) Act, 1996 (27 of 1996), State Government hereby appoints the officers mentioned in column (1) of the schedule below as 'Chief Inspector' and 'Inspector' respectively as specified in column (2) to exercise the powers conferred under the said Act and Bihar Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Services) Rule, 2005 in their respective declared jurisdictions. Schedule Officers Power Jurisdiction Labour Commissioner, Bihar Chief Inspector Whole Bihar State. Chief Factory Inspector, Bihar Inspector Whole Bihar State. All Joint Labour Commissioners Inspector Whole Bihar State. All Deputy Labour Commissioners Inspector In their respective declared jurisdiction. All Assistant Labour Commissioners Inspector In their respective declared jurisdiction. All Labour Superintendents Inspector In their respective declared jurisdiction.
