Notification - Extension of the boundaries of Pukhrayan Municipal Council, Kanpur Dehat district.

Uttar Pradesh Shasan In pursuance of the provisions of clause (3) of Article 348 of the Constitution of India the Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of notification no.1742/9-6-2020-07CV/2019 dated December s, 2020 for general information. NOTIFICATION No- 1742/9-6-2020-07CV/2019 WHERES Government notification no.1200/IX-6-20-07C.V./2019 dated 07 September, 2020 was published on the same date to invite objections and suggestions on the proposal for including the area mentioned in Schedule-l in the smaller urban area of Municipal Council Pukhrayan District Kanpur Dehat as required under sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Uttar Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1916 (U.P. Act no.2 of 1916); AND WHEREAS the objections and suggestions received within the stipulated period have been disposed of in Government Order no.1410/9-6-2020-7 NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers under clause (2) of Article 243-Q of the Constitution read with sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Uttar Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1916 (U.P. Act no.2 of 1916), the Governor is pleased to declare that the area specified in Schedule-l below shall be included in the smaller urban area of Municipal Council Pukhrayan, District Kanpur Dehat for the purpose of Part IX-A of the Constitution of India and is further pleased to notify under clause (d) of Article 243-P of the Constitution that the area specified in Schedule Il below shall be the territorial area of the said Municipal Council.
