IN pursuance of the provisions of clause (3) of Article 348 of the Constitution, the Governor is A pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of notification no. 1882/1X-6-2019- Dated Lucknow, December 13, 2019 WHEREAS, Government notification no. 104/IX-6-2018-10 Niyam-2014, dated February 19, 2018 was published to invite objections and suggestions on the proposal for including the areas specified in the Schedule-1 below in the smaller urban area of Municipal Council, Padrauna, District Kushinagar as required under sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Uttar Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1916 { U.P. Act no. 2 of 1916) ; AND, WHEREAS, the Objections and suggestions received within the stipulated period has been decided in Government order no. 780/[X-6-2018-10 Niyam-2018, dated June 12,2018 ; ‘Now, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers under clause (2) of Article 243-Q of the Constitution read with sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Uttar Pradesh Municipalitics Act, 1916 - (U.P. Act no. 2 of 1916). The Govemnor is pleased to include the area specified in Schedule-1 below in the smaller urban area of Municipal Council, Padrauna, District Kushinagar for the purposes of Part IX-A of the Constitution and is further pleased to notify under clause (d) of Article 243-P of the Constitution that the area specified in Schedule-1I below shall be the territorial area of the said Muncipal Council, Padrauna, District Kushinagar with effect from the publication of this notification in the Gazette.
