EXTRAORDINARY PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 295] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY, JANUARY 22, 2021/MAGHA 2, 1942 MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, FOREST AND CLIMATE CHANGE NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 22nd January, 2021 S.O. 326(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986) and in pursuance of the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Environment and Forests, number S.O. 1533(E), dated the th September, 2006, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii),vide number S.O. 2031(E), dated the 28 th June, 2017, namely:— In the said notification, after paragraph 2 A, the following paragraph shall be inserted, namely:— ‘‘2 B Notwithstanding anything contained in paragraph 2 and 2A, the Chairman and Members of the Authority, Gujarat shall hold office for a term up to the 27 th June, 2021 or till the constitution of new Authority, whichever is earlier.’’.
