NOTIFICATION RicHT T0 FAIR COMPENSATION AND TRANSPARENCY IN LAND ACQUISITION, REHABILITATION AND RESETTLEMENT Acr, 2013. No. SIA.2022/C.R.07/A-2.— WHEREAS, section 10A of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (30 of 2013), in its application to the State of Maharashtra (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), provides that the State Government may, in the public interest, by notification in the Official Gazette, exempt any of the projects mentioned in the said section 10A from the application of the provisions of Chapter IT and Chapter III of the said Act; AND WHEREAS, it appears to the State Government that the lands mentioned in Schedule I appended hereto are required or likely to be required for the project mentioned in Schedule प appended hereto, which is covered under clause (b) of the said section 10A (hereinafter referred to as “the said project”) ; AND WHEREAS, the State Government has ensured the extent of the said lands for the proposed acquisition being bare minimum land required for the said project; AND WHEREAS, the Government of Maharashtra considers it expedient 17 the public interest to exempt the said project under section 10A of the said Act from the application of the provisions of Chapter II and Chapter III of the said Act; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 10A of the said Act and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, the Government of Maharashtra hereby, in the public interest exempts the said project from the application of the provisions of Chapter II and Chapter SCHEDULE -1 Description of Lands Village - Fukeri, Taluka - Dodamarg, District - Sindhudurg Sr. No. Gut.
