"The 6cmette of ;iindia EXTRAORDINARY vriwiT A 1,11,611 PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY It 21091 No. 21091 NEW DELHI, FRIDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2010/ASVINA 16, 1932 3344 3t17. 41 4 11t 4411(14 311F-11: MT , 8 31-4I47, 2010 3414 3-47 th.11 14 ,1 31114 ,31 -101 7 1-1, 2010 *T 41; zit 31-td :- wr 61) 3117=1:41 "(17) Tr*r7:1; 391 irrutzr, Ned irfqq. -1.331. . 404( 34), -R71..W 5 1989, 71.311. 263(31), R-i(T 29 4-11-4, 1994, 7T,311. 36(31), 27 '79-It, 1999, W1.341. 397( 31), f-cif- 10 2001, MINISTRY OF LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 8th October, 2010 S.O. 2469(E).- Whereas the draft of the proposal further to amend the Schedule to the Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act, 1986 (61 of 1986) was published, as required by Section 4 of the Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act, 1986 (61 of 1986), in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub- section (ii) dated the 7th June, 2010 vide the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Labour and Employment, number S.O. 1332(E), dated the 7th June, 2010 inviting objections and suggestions from all persons likely to be affected thereby within a period of three months from the date on which copies of the Official Gazette containing the said notification were made available to the public; And, whereas the copies of the said Gazette were made available to the general public on the 7th June, 2010; And, whereas, no objections and suggestions on the said draft notification were received from the general public within the said period of three months; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 4 of the Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act, 1986 (61 of 1986), the Central Government on the recommendations of the Child Labour Technical Advisory Committee, hereby makes the following amendments further to amend the Schedule to the said Act and directs that they shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette, namely :- In the Schedule to the Child Labour (Prohibition and Regulation) Act, 1986 (61 of 1986), in Part A, under the heading "Occupations", after item number (16) and the entry relating thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely :— "(17) Circus; (18) Caring of Elephants".
