NOTIFICATION Lucknow: Sep 14, 2023 WHEREAS the premises named, detailed’ and described in the Schedule given below is a place used for Gas supplying to different part of country by Gail Pipeline network ; AND WHEREAS an information with respect thereto, of the destruction or obstruction thereof, of interference therewith, would be useful fo an enemy ; AND WHEREAS in pursuance, of clause (1) of Article 258 of the Constitution of India, the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India has vide Notification no. §.0.1285 dated 4° May, 1963, published in Part-li, Section-3, Sub-section (ii) of the Gazette of India, Extraordinary dated 41 May, 1963, entrusted the functions of the Central Government to a the State Government of Uttar Pradesh in relation to any matter specified in sub-clauses (c) and (d} of clause (8) of section 2 of the Official Secrets Act, 1923 (Act no.19 of 1923) ; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers under sub-clause (d) of clause (8) of section 2 of the Official Secrets Act, 1923 tAct NO.XIX of 1923}, read with Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs Notification NO.S.O. 1285, dated 04 May, 1983 the Governor is pleased to declare the premises named, detailed and described in the schedule given below to be a "Prohibitad Place" for the purposes of the said Act and to direct that a copy of this Notification in English and in the vernacular of the locality be affixed to the said premises. ‘ SCHEDULE | Name and specifications of tha prohibited place.
