Establishment of Court of Judicial Magistrate, First Class at Mandangad in Ratnagiri District.

No.NYAYASTHA 1022/C.R.124/DESK-11.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of the section 11 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974), in its application to the State of Maharashtra and of all other powers enabling it in this behalf; and in partial modification of all the earlier notifications, issued in this behalf, in so far as they relate to the Court of Judicial Magistrate First Class, Dapoli, in District Ratnagiri, The Government of Maharashtra, after consultation with The High Court of Judicature at Bombay, hereby, directs that, with effect from the 8th October, 2023 specifies that,- (a) Mandangad in Ratnagiri District, to be a place where the Court of Judicial Magistrate, First Class, shall be established; (b) The Criminal Cases arising out of Mandangad and Bankot Police Station area and out of villages mentioned in Schedule appended hereto, being filed and dealt with by the Court of Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Dapoli, except the cases , the cognizance of which is either expressly or impliedly barred, shall stand transferred to the Court of Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Mandangad; (c) The Criminal cases arising out of villages mentioned in Schedule appended hereto, and falling within the Mandangad and Bankot Police Station area, except the cases, the cognizance of which is either expressly or impliedly barred, shall be filed and dealt with by the Court of the Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Mandangad.
