UTTAR PRADESH SHASAN In pursuance of the provisions of clause (3) of Article 348 of the Constitution of India. the Governor is pleased to ordes the publication of the following English translation of notification no-1524 /9-7.20-42 (Varanasi)/2012, dated, 30 December 2020. . NOTIFICATION No 1524 /9-7-20-42 (Varanasi)/2012 Lucknow :Dated 30 December 2020 In exercise of the powers under clause (2) of Article 243-Q of the Constitution of India read with sub section (2) of section 3 of the Uttar Pradesh Municipal Corporation Act, 1959 (U.P. Act no. 2 of 1959), the Governor is pleased to include the area mentioned in Schedule-1 below in the larger urban area of Municipal Corporation Varanasi. The Governor is further pleased to notify under clause (d) of Article 243-P of the Constitution that the boundaries of territorial area mentioned in Schedule-2 below, after including the area mentioned in Schedule-1, shall be the boundaries of the territorial area of Municipal Corporation Varanasi.
