Uttar Pradesh Shasan In pursuance of the provision of clause (3) of Article-348 of the Constitution of India, the Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of Notification no.^/^-i^^^'^^dated for general information. NOTIFICATION No. qa5 1 Lucknow; Dated: August, 2022 WHEREAS Notification no. 400/IX-2-2022-01(Seema Vistar)/2021 dated July, 19, 2022 was published in the Gazette to invite objections and suggestions for including the areas specified in Schedule-I below in the smaller urban area of Municipal Council, Faridpur, District Bareilly as required under sub-section (2) of section 4 of the Uttar Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1916 (U.P. Act no.2 of 1916); AND WHEREAS no objections and suggestions in respect of the same within the stipulated time period; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers under clause (2) of Article-243-Q of the Constitution read with sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Uttar Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1916 (U.P. Act no.2 of 1916), the Governor is pleased to include the area specified in Schedule- 1below in the smaller urban area of Municipal Council Faridpur, District Bareilly for the purposes of Part IX-A of the Constitution of India and the Governor is further pleased to direct under clause (d) of Article 243-P of the Constitution of India that the areas specified in Schedule-II below shall be the territorial area of Municipal Council Faridpur, District Bareilly.
