NOTIFICATION No. Nyayastha.0119/968/C.R.3/DESK-11.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b of section 3 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 (25 of 1955), in its application to the State of Maharashtra, and of all other powers enabling it in this behalf and in partial modification of all the earlier notifications issued in this behalf, in so far as they relate to the Revenue Talukas of Vita, Palus, Kadegaon and Atpadi in Sangli District, the Government of Maharashtra hereby, with effect from the 9th December 2020, specifies the Court of Civil Judge (Senior Division), Vita in Sangli District as having jurisdiction in respect of the matters to be dealt with under the said Act, within the local limits of ordinary jurisdiction of the Court of Civil Judge (Senior Division) Vita, established under the Maharashtra Civil Courts Act (XIV of 1869).
