(kke (Bazette of ,3ndia EXTRAORDINARY PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY U 1814] No. 1814] NEW DELHI, MONDAY, DECEMBER 29,2008/PAUSA 8,1930 3*«rf^ :- [ m U 11/11/2007 '^^^^ ] MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT AND FORESTS NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 29th December, 2008 S.0.2981(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (1) and (2) of Section 5(A) of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 (59 of 1960), the Central Government, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Environment and Forests Number S.O. 2005(E) dated 2. The Central Government hereby nominates Sh. Doulat Jain, Member to be the Vice Chairman of the Animal Welfare Board of India as per Sub section (3) of Section 5 of the aforesaid Act, in place of Dr. V. N. Appaji Rao. Note: The earlier notification regarding reconstitution of the Animal Welfare Board of India was published in the Gazette of India vide number S.O. 2005(E), dated Printed by the Manager, Govt, of India Press, Ring Road, Mayapuri, New Delhi-110064 and Published by the Controller of Publications, Delhi-110054.
