NOTIFICATION CONSTITUTION OF INDIA. No.VPM.2019/CR-196/PR-4 (22).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (g) of article 243 of the Constitution of India, read with section 4 of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act ( III of 1959), and of all other powers enabling it in this behalf, and in supersession of all the previous notifications and instruments issued in that behalf, and after consultation with the Standing Committee of the Zilla Parishad, Pune and Village Panchayat and the Gram Sabha, Jambut in Shirur Tahasil of Pune District, the Governor of Maharashtra hereby specifies the 17th February 2020 to be the date from which each of the local areas comprising revenue village of Jambut and Sharadwadi in Shirur Tahasil of Pune District, specified in column (3) of the Schedule appended hereto, shall be the distinct villages and shall be known by the name of the villages Jambut and Sharadwadi respectively, as specified in column (2) thereof for the purposes of Part IX of the Constitution.
