\ (Ss py 49.0 nr In pursuance of the provisions of clause (4) of Article 3-+8 of the Constitution, the Govemor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of Government notification no, 473) /X XTV-P-3-2020, Dated 19 May, 2020 NOTIFICATION No, 473 / XXTV-P-3-2020 Lucknow : Dated 19° May, 2020 WHEREAS, the LLP. Electric Vehicle Manufacturing Policy-2019 has been approved by the Cubinet: And, WHEREAS, in para 4.1.2 of the U.P. Electric Vehicle Manufacturing Policv-2019 | Large Anchor EVMU/ERBU and MSME: units has been provided various promotions such as exemption in electricity duty as provided through LP. Industrial Investment and Employment Promotion Policy of 2017. NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers under sub-section/4) of secuion-3 of the U.P. Electricity (Duty) Act-1952 (U.P. Act no. 33 of 1952), the Governor. is pleased to direct that large Anchor EWVMU/EBU and MSME units established under the U.P. Electric Vehicle Manufacturing Policy-2019 shall be exempted from Electricity Duty for a period of 10 years from the date of publication of this notification in the Gazette.
