Revision of SCA to judges posted in the High Court situated of North East Region

EXTRAORDINARY PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY MINISTRY OF LAW AND JUSTICE (Department of Justice) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 7th August, 2019 G.S.R. 565(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 23 read with section 24, of the High Court Judges (Salaries and Conditions of Service) Act, 1954 (28 of 1954), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the High Court Judges Rules, 1956, namely:- 1 (1) Short title and Commencement- These rules may be called the High Court Judges (Amendment) Rules, (2) They shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st July, 1982. 2. In the High Court Judges Rules, 1956, in rule 2, in the last proviso the following Explanations shall be inserted, namely:- “Explanation.- For the purpose of this proviso, it is hereby clarified that Special Compensatory (Remote Locality) Allowance shall be deemed to be admissible from 1st July, 1982”.
