No. VPM.2019/CR-108/PR-4 (22).— In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (g) of article 243 of the Constitution of India, read with section 4 of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act ( III of 1959) and of all other powers enabling it in this behalf, and in supersession of all the previous notifications and instruments issued in that behalf, and after consultation with the Standing Committee of the Zilla Parishad, Nagpur and Village Panchayat and the Gram Sabha Khapri(Railway) and Kalkuhi in Nagpur Tahasil of Nagpur District, the Governor of Maharashtra hereby specifies the 29th August 2019 to be the date from which each of the local areas comprising group of revenue villages or revenue village of Khapri (Railway), Dahegaon, Kalkuhi and Telhara in Nagpur Tahasil of Nagpur District, specified in column (3) of the Schedule appended hereto, shall be the distinct villages and shall be known by the name of the village Khapri (Railway) (Kalkuhi), respectively, as specified in column (2) thereof, for the purposes of Part IX of the Constitution.
