NOTIFICATION Maharashtra Zilla Parishads and Panchayat Samitis Act, 1961. No. ZPA-2025/C.R.04/Panra-1.— Whereas the Government of Maharashtra by the Government Notification, Revenue and Forests Department, No.TLC-2024/C.R.146/M-10, dated 08th October, 2024; has changed the Name of revenue areas of “Ahmednagar District” as “Ahilyanagar District”. Now, therefore, in pursuance of section 6 of the Maharashtra Zilla Parishads and Panchayat Samitis Act, 1961 (Mah. V of 1962), the Government of Maharashtra hereby makes the changes in the name of “Zilla Parishad , Ahmednagar” as “Zilla Parishad, Ahilyanagar”. 2. Any reference in any Act or instrument or other document, to the Zilla Parishad, Ahmednagar (as it existed before the publication of this notification in the Maharashtra Government Gazette), unless the context requires otherwise, be deemed to be reference to the Zilla Parishad, Ahilyanagar.
