No.PFT 2015/CR 18/Taxation-03.—Whereas the Government of Maharashtra is satisfied that circumstances exist which render it necessary to take immediate action further to amend the Maharashtra State Tax on Professions, Trades, Callings and Employments Rules, 1975 and to dispense with the condition of previous publication thereof under the proviso to sub-section (3) of section 27 of the Maharashtra State Tax on Professions, Trades, Callings and Employments Act, 1975 (Mah.XVI of 1975). Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections () and (2) read with the proviso to sub-section (3) of section 27 of the Maharashtra State Tax on Professions, Trades, Callings and Employments Act, 1975, and of all other powers enabling it in this behalf, the Government of Maharashtra hereby, makes the following rules further to amend the Maharashtra State Tax on Professions, Trades, Callings and Employments Rules 1975, namely:— 1. These rules may be called the Maharashtra State Tax on Professions, Trades, Callings and Employments (Amendment) Rules, 2015. 2. Inthe FORMS appended to the Maharashtra State Tax on Professions, Trades, Oallings and Employments Rules, 1975,— (1) In FORM IIIB, in Sr. No. 7, for the portion “Exceed 175 ? Rs. 7,500 but do not Exceed Rs. 10,000 the following portion shall be substituted, namely :— “Exceed In case Rs. 7,500 of female but do not 175 Upto Rs. 10,000 2015 and thereafter NIL. case of male (2) In FORM VI, for entry (iv-a), the following entries shall be substituted, namely :— “(iv-a) more than Rs. 7,500 but do not more than Rs. 10,000, in case of a male.
