Xhe (Baxette of 3tidia EXTRAORDINARY PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 133]___________ NEW DELHI, TUESDAY, MARCH 12, 2013/PHALGUNA 21, 1934 _________ ■ ?T̂ 1 ^ , 2000 ^ 1 ^ 3 — 1037 Gl/2013 (1) MINISTRY OF INFORMATION AND BROADCASTING NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 11 th March, 2013 GS.R. l67(E).-r~In exercise o f the powers conferred by Section 32 read with Sub-sections (7) and (8) of Section 6 of the Prasar Bharati (Broadcasting Corporation of India) Act, 1990 (25 of 1990), the Central Government hereby makes th e , following rules further to amend the Prasar Bharati (Broadcasting Corporation of India) Salaries, Allowances and other Conditions o f Service of Chairman, Whole-time Members and Part-time Members Rules, 2000, nam ely:— 1.(1) These rules may be called the Prasar Bharati (Broadcasting Corporation of India) Salaries, Allowances and other Conditions of Service of Chairman, Whole-time Members and Part-time Members Rules, 2013, (2) They shall come into force on the date o f their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Prasar Bharati (Broadcasting Corporation o f India) Salaries, Allowances and other Conditions of Service of Chairman, Whole-time Members and Part-time Members Rules, 2000, in rule (3),— (a) In sub-rule (1), for the words and brackets “ rupees twenty-six thousand per month (fixed)” , the words and brackets “ rupees eighty thousand per month (fixed)” shall be substituted. (b) In sub-rule (2), for the words, letters and figures “ in the scale of Rs. 22,400-525-24,500” , the words, letters, figures and brackets “ in the scale o f Rs. 67,000—(annual increment at the rate of three per cent)— 79,000” shall be substituted.
