Ankur Gupta, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary to Govt. Haryana, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department on 15.03.2022, as per direction received from the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Govt. of India vide letter No. 191(1)2019-FC-ACS Part file 1 dated 24.02.2020, the mandi labour charges of the different market functioneries of Haryana of the following commodities were approved for Rabi Season, 2022 w.e.f. 01.04.2022. Accordingly, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 44 of the Haryana Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1961 and all other powers enabling it in this behalf, the Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board in supersession of all previous notifications, confirms and notifies the following amendments in the Bye-Laws of the Market Committees: AMENDMENTS The existing sub-clause (i) of Bye-Law No. 28 (Category ‘A’, commodity No. 1 & 3) of the Bye-Laws of the Market Committees shall be substituted by the following: (i) For the services actually rendered by them in connection with sale, purchase, storage and processing of agricultural produce, different market functionaries, whether licensed or not, shall not demand or receive remuneration, in excess of the rates specified below:- PART III] HARYANA GOVT. GAZ., MAR. 29, 2022 (CHTR. 8, 1944 SAKA) 178 Category ‘A’ Commodity No. 1 (wheat only) Incidental Charges Payable by Seller Rates in rupees per bag for 50Kg (ii) Cleaning & dressing (manually) Cleaning & dressing (by machine) Rs. 1.92 Rs. 3.48 Note: For rendering actual services. Nothing will be charged if produce is already cleaned. Market charges (payable by buyer per unit for 50Kg). These operations will be performed by Commission Agents/Katcha Arhtiyas. (iii) Filling & placing the unit on the platform/balance. Rs. 3.18 (v) Unloading from the balance Rs. 1.66 Or Stitching (by machine) (Including best quality sutli/thread) Rs. 1.59 Rs. 1.91 i.e. cost of sutli/thread is Rs. 0.62 in each case.
