Establishment of Civil Court Junior Division and Judicial Magistrate First Class at Rajur, District Ahmednagar

LAW AND JUDICIARY DEPARTMENT Mantralaya, 5th Floor, Madam Cama Marg, Hutatma Rajguru Chowk, Mumbai 400 032, dated the 14th August, 2023. NOTIFICATION Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. No. Sankiran-1114/1153/C.R.210/Desk-11.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of the section 11 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974), in its application to the State of Maharashtra and of all other powers enabling it in this behalf; and in partial modification of all the earlier notifications issued in this behalf, in so far as they relate to the Court of Judicial Magistrate First Class, Akole, the Government of Maharashtra, after consultation with the High Court of Judicature at Bombay, hereby, with effect from the 20th August, 2023, specifies that,— (a) the Rajur in District Ahmednagar, to be a place where a Court of Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Rajur shall be established; (b) the Criminal cases arising out of Rajur Police Station area and out of the villages mentioned in Schedule appended hereto, being filed and dealt with by the Court of Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Akole except the cases, the cognizance of which is either expressly or impliedly barred, shall stand transferred to the Court of the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Rajur; (c) the Criminal cases arising out of villages mentioned in Schedule appended hereto, and falling within the Rajur police station area, except the cases, the cognizance of which is either expressly or impliedly barred, shall be filed and dealt with by the Court of the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Rajur.
