EXTRAORDINARY PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 614] NEW DELHI, TUESDAY, OCTOBER 26, 2021/KARTIKA 4, 1943 MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, FOREST AND CLIMATE CHANGE NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 25th October, 2021 G.S.R. 759(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (c) of sub-section (2) of section 25, read with section 8 of the Commission for Air Quality Management in National Capital Region and Adjoining Areas Act, 2021 (29 of 2021) the Central Government hereby makes following rules further to amend the Commission for Air Quality Management in National Capital Region and Adjoining Areas (Appointment, Salary, Allowances and other Terms and Conditions of Service of Chairperson, Full-time Members and Member-Secretary) Rules, 2021, namely:— 1. (1) These rules may be called the Commission for Air Quality Management in National Capital Region and Adjoining Areas (Appointment, Salary, Allowances and other Terms and Conditions of Service of Chairperson, Full-time Members and Member-Secretary) Amendment Rules, 2021. (2) These rules shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Commission for Air Quality Management in National Capital Region and Adjoining Areas (Appointment, Salary, Allowances and other Terms and Conditions of Service of Chairperson, Full-time Members and Member-Secretary) Rules, 2021, for sub-rule (2) of rule 13, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:— “(2) The Commission shall not purchase any passenger vehicle for official purpose and the requirement of vehicles shall be met by hiring and the Chairperson and full-time Members of the Commission shall be entitled for vehicle facility as per the extant provisions for the officers of Central Government of equivalent grade in pay level-17 and pay level-15 respectively.”.
