Declaring certain computer resources of Licensed Telecom service providers and their associated dependencies as protected system

EXTRAORDINARY PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 3099] NEW DELHI, THURSDAY, JULY 21, 2022/ASHADHA 30, 1944 MINISTRY OF ELECTRONICS AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 20th July, 2022 S.O. 3259(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 70 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 (21 of 2000), the Central Government hereby declares the computer resources relating to the Network Elements specified under column(2) of the table below of the Licensed Telecom service provider’s network specified in the corresponding entry under column(3) of the said table, being Critical Information Infrastructure, along with the computer resources of its associated dependencies to be a Protected System for the purpose of the said Act.
