No.VPM. 2019/CR-150/PR-4 (22).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (g) of article 243 of the Constitution of India, read with section 4 of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act (III of 1959), and of all other powers enabling it in this behalf, and in supersession of all the previous notifications and instruments issued in that behalf, and after consultation with the Standing Committee of the Zilla Parishad, Gadchiroli and Village Panchayat and the Gram Sabha Sawalkheda in Kurkheda Tahasil of Gadchiroli District, the Governor of Maharashtra hereby specifies the 24th December 2019 to be the date from which each of the local areas comprising group of revenue villages of Sawalkheda, Karadi, Jambhali, Bhagwanpur and Wadhona in Kurkheda Tahasil of Gadchiroli District, specified in column (3) of the Schedule appended hereto, shall be the distinct villages and shall be known by the name of the villages Sawalkheda and Bhagwanpur, respectively, as specified in column (2) thereof, for the purposes of Part IX of the Constitution.
