No.Padani 2018/1099/C.R.186/DESK-11.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 14 and 19 of the Maharashtra Civil Courts Act,1869 (XIV of 1869), and of all other power enabling it in this behalf, and in partial modification of all the other earlier notifications issued in this behalf, in so far as they relate to the revenue tehsil of Maval in Pune District, the Government of Maharashtra, hereby direct that, with effect from 6th February, 2022. (a) there shall be a Court at Vadgaon, tehsil Maval, in the revenue district of Pune and the said Court shall be presided over by the Additional District Judge; (b) the local limits of the ordinary jurisdiction of the said Court shall be co-extensive with and cover the areas comprising the revenue tehsil of Maval in Pune District; and (c) all the powers of the Principal Distirct Judge, Pune in respect of the revenue tehsil of Maval in Pune District shall vest in the said Additional District Judge, Vadgaon, except those vested in the Principal District Judge under section 9 of the said Act and except his power to assign to the Additional District Judge, at Vadgaon or withdraw unto himself or to assign to another Court of competent jurisdiction, such matters as he thinks fit.
