IMO] *-TO'T -11711 tzi MINISTRY OF HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT (Departtakut of Women and Child Development) NOTIFICATION NecvDeihi, the 24th October, 2003 S.O. 1235(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (2) of Section 1 of the Infant Milk Substi- tutes, Feeding Bottles and Infant Foods (Regulation of Production, Supply and Distribution) Amendment Act, 2003 (38 of 2003) read with Section 21 of the General Clauses Act, 1897 (10 of 1897), the Central Government hereby rescinds tile notification of the Government of India in the 11/1ini6.try of Human Resource Developraent (Department of Women and Child Development) number S.O. 880(E), dated the 1st August, 2003, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub- section (ii), dated the 1st August, 2003 and appoints the 1st day of January, 2004, as the date on which the Infant Milk Substitutes, Feeding Bottles and Infant Foods (Regu- lation of Production, Supply and Distribution) Amendment Act, 2003 (38 of 2003) shall come into force.
