Extension of Nagar Panchayat Rampur Maniharan, Saharanpur

IN pursuance of the provisions of clause (3) of Article 348 of the Constitution, the Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of notification no. 2843/IX-1–2019- No. 2843/IX-1–2019-58T.A.-2015 Dated Lucknow, December 31, 2019 WHEREAS Government notification no. 1804/ IX-1–2016-58T.A.-2015 dated October 28, 2016 was issued and published in the Gazette dated October 28, 2016 with a view to inviting objections and suggestions of general public with respect to the inclusion of the areas specified in the Schedule below in the transitional area of Nagar Panchayat Rampur Maniharan, in District Saharanpur as required by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Uttar Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1916 (U.P. Act no. II of 1916); AND, WHEREAS, objections and suggestions received in pursuance of the said notification were disposed of vide Government order no. 2708/9-1–19-58T.A.-15 dated December 24, 2019; NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers under clause (2) of Article 243-Q of the Constitution of India read with sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Uttar Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1916 (U.P. Act no. II of 1916) and in partial modification of notification no. 939/XI-1-20T, dated May 27, 1921 and other previous notifications issued from time to time in this behalf the Governor is pleased to include the area specified in the Schedule below in the transitional area of Nagar Panchayat Rampur Maniharan, district Saharanpur for the purpose of Part IX-A of the Constitution.
