(the (Baxette of ^tidia EXTRAORDINARY mftranr $ u*ifvid PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 1578] NEW DELHI, THURSDAY, AUGUST 7,2014/SHRAVANA 16,1936 MINISTRY OF SOCIAL JUSTICE AND EMPOWERMENT (Department of Social Justice and Empowerment) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 7th August, 2014 S.O. 2008(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 29 of the Prohibition of Employment as Manual Scavengers and their Rehabilitation Act, 2013 (25 of 2013), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment to the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Department of Social Justice and Empowerment number S.O. 89(E), dated the 13th January, 2014 published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii) dated the 13th January, 2014, namely:— In the said notification, in paragraph B, under the heading 'In pursuance of clause (f) of sub-section (2) of Section 29 of the Act', for item numbers (i) and (ii) and the entry relating thereto, the following item numbers and entry shall respectively be substituted, namely:— "(i) Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) (ii) Shri Sadashiv Kisan Lokhande, Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha)".
