(EXTRA.), DEC. 5, 2024 (AGHN. 14, 1946 SAKA) HARYANA GOVERNMENT ENVIRONMENT, FORESTS AND WILDLIFE DEPARTMENT Notification The 5th December, 2024 No. S.O. 75/C.A. 16/1927/S. 30/2024.— Whereas, vide the Haryana Government, Environment, Forests and Wildlife Department, notification No. S.O. 74/C.A. 16/1927/S. 29/2024, dated the 5th December, 2024, certain forest and wastelands mentioned in the Schedule appended thereto have been declared to be as protected forests under section 29 of the Indian Forest Act, 1927 (Central Act 16 of 1927); Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred under section 30 of the said Act, the Governor of Haryana hereby;– (a) declares all trees standing or planted in or upon said protected forests, to be reserved with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette; (b) closes the said protected forests for a period of thirty years from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette and further declares that all rights of private persons, if any, over the said land shall be suspended during the said period; and (c) prohibits from the same date and for the aforesaid period, the quarrying of stones, the burning of lime or charcoal, the collection, or subjection to any manufacturing process or removal of any forest produce in said protected forests and the breaking up or clearing for cultivation, for building, for herding cattle or for any other purpose of any land in such forest.
