No. NYAYASTHA-0619/334/C.R.108/DESK-11.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of section 3 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 (25 of 1955), in its application to the State of Maharashtra, and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf and in partial modification of all the earlier notifications issued in this behalf, in so far as they relates to the Revenue Tehsil of Igatpuri in Nashik District, the Government of Maharashtra hereby, with effect from 22nd April 2023, specifies the Court of Civil Judge, Senior Division, Igatpuri, in Nashik District as having jurisdiction in respect of the matters to be dealt with under the said Act within the local limits of ordinary and special jurisdiction of the Court of Civil Judge, Senior Division, Igatpuri established under the Maharashtra Civil Courts Act ( XIV of 1869) By order and in the name of the Governor of Maharashtra, Legal Advisor-Cum-Joint Secretary to Government.
