EXTRAORDINARY PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 475] NEW DELHI, THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 2021/MAGHA 15, 1942 MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, FOREST AND CLIMATE CHANGE NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 3rd February, 2021 S.O. 525(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 3 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986) and in pursuance of the notification of the Government of India in the erstwhile Ministry of Environment and Forests, number S.O. 1533(E), dated the 14th September, 2006, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub- section (ii), vide number S.O. 3338(E), dated the 16th October, 2017, namely:- In the said notification,- (i) After paragraph 2A, the following paragraph shall be inserted, namely: - “2B. Notwithstanding anything contained in paragraph 2 and paragraph 2A, the Chairman and Members of the Authority, Uttar Pradesh shall hold office for a term up to the 15th October, 2021 or till the constitution of new Authority, Uttar Pradesh, whichever is earlier.”; (ii) After paragraph 6A, the following paragraph shall be inserted, namely: - “6B. Notwithstanding anything contained in paragraph 6 and paragraph 6A, the Chairman and Members of SEAC, Uttar Pradesh shall hold office for a term up to the 15th October, 2021 or till the constitution of new SEAC, Uttar Pradesh, whichever is earlier.”.
