(the (Baxette of ^Jndia EXTRAORDINARY PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 1226] NEW DELHI, TUESDAY, MAY 2, 2017/VAISAKHA 12,1939 MINISTRY OF SOCIAL JUSTICE AND EMPOWERMENT (Department of Social Justice and Empowerment) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 2nd May, 2017 S.O. 1389(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 29 of the Prohibition of Employment as Manual Scavengers and their Rehabilitation Act, 2013 (25 of 2013), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part -II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), vide number S.0.89(E), dated the 13lh January, 2014, namely:- In the said notification, in paragraph G, for item numbers (i) to (v) and the entries relating thereto, the following item numbers and entries shall be substituted, namely:- "(i) Shri Bhagwat Prasad Makwana, (iii) Shri Ram Singh Balmiki, (iv) Shri Raj Kumar Pathi, (v) Shri Hansraj Narwale, (vi) Kumari Mamta Dhika". Note: The principal notification was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), vide number S.O. 89 (E), dated the 13th January, 2014 and subsequently amended vide number S.O. 605 (E), dated the 28th February, 2014, number S.O. 2008(E), dated the 7th August, 2014 and S.O. 476 (E), dated 16"' February, 2017. and Published by the Controller of Publications, Delhi-110054.
