Creation of a Sessions Sub Division for the revenue tehsil of Maval in Pune District and establishment of a Court of Sessions at Vadgaon, tehsil Maval to be presided over by the Additional Sessions Judge, for trial of cases arising within the limits of the said Sessions Sub Division.

No.Padani 2018/1099/C.R.186/DESK-11.—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 7 (3) read with section 9 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974), in its application to the State of Maharashtra, and of all other powers enabling it in this behalf, and in partial modification of all earlier notifications issued in this behalf, in so far as they relate to the revenue tehsil of Maval in Pune District, the Government of Maharashtra, after consultation with the High Court of Judicature at Bombay, hereby,with effect from 6th Feburary, 2022, creates a Sessions Sub Division for the revenue tehsil of Maval in Pune District and establishes Court of Sessions at Vadgaon, tehsil Maval to be presided over by the Additional Sessions Judge, for trial of cases arising within the limits of the said Sessions Sub Division. The Sessions Judge, Pune, shall also be the Sessions Judge for the Sessions Sub Division at Vadgaon, and shall have the powers to withdraw unto himself or assign to any other Court of competent jurisdiction, the cases from the said Sessions Sub Division, or to assign unto the Additional Sessions Judge at Vadgaon, any such cases as he thinks fit.
