(EXTRA.), OCT. 18, 2022 (ASVN. 26, 1944 SAKA) 4009 HARYANA GOVERNMENT ANIMAL HUSBANDRY & DAIRYING DEPARTMENT Notification The 18th October, 2022 THE PREVENTION AND CONTROL OF INFECTIOUS AND CONTAGIOUS DISEASES IN ANIMALS ACT, 2009. No. 5334(CFMS)-AH-4-2022/6878.— In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (1) of Section 6 read with Sub-section (1) and (2) of Section 7 of “The Prevention and Control of Infectious and Contagious Disease in Animals Act, 2009 (27 of 2009)”, the Government of Haryana, hereby declares the District Sirsa as “controlled area” for restriction of movement of equine species (horses, donkeys, mules) within or outside the district and bordering States to prevent, control and contain the Glanders disease. The holding of reaces, fair, exhibition, games and gathering of such animals in Sirsa District is also prohibited.
