Territory of Delhi, with the approval of the Central Government, hereby makes the following rules to further amend the Delhi Registration of Births and Deaths Rules, 1999, namely:— 1 . Short titles, extent and commencement.—(1) These rules may be called the Delhi Registration of Births and Deaths (Amendment) Rules, 2016. (2) They shall come into force on the dale of notification in the Official Gazette. 2. Amendment of Forms No.l, 2 and 3.—In the Delhi Registration of Births and Deaths Rules, 1999 (hereinafter referred to as the Principal Rules) ,- (a) In Form No. 1 appended to the Principal Rules, for entries at serial No. 2, the following entries shall be substituted, namely :- "2. Sex : (Enter Male/Female/Transgender) (Do not use abbreviation)" (b) In Form No. 2 appended to the Principal Rules, for entries at serial No. 3, the following entries shall be substituted, namely :- "3. Sex of Deceased : (Enter Male/Female/Transgender) (Do not use abbreviation)" (c) In Form No. 3 appended to the Principal Rules, for entries at serial No. 2, the following entries shall be substituted, namely :- "2.
