EXTRAORDINARY PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 2985] NEW DELHI, TUESDAY, OCTOBER 24, 2017/KARTIKA 2, 1939 ¼1½ ¼2½ ¼3½ ¼4½ MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE AND FARMERS WELFARE (Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 23rd October, 2017 S.O. 3406(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 29 read with section 14 of the Protection of Plant Varieties and Farmers’ Rights Act, 2001 (53 of 2001), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare), number S.O. 1536(E), dated the 12th May, 2017, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated the 12th May, 2017, namely:- In the said notification, in the Table, after serial number 130 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be inserted, namely:- Cashew Kaju Arecanut Supari”.
