L.-33004/99 The Gazette of India EXTRAORDINARY PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 630] NEW DELHI, FRIDAY, AUGUST 31, 2001/BHADRA 9,1923 MINISTRY OF SOCIAL JUSTICE AND EMPOWERMENT NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 31 st August, 2001 S.0.848(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 3 A of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 (59 of 1960), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Social justice and Empowerment number SO. 516(E), dated, the 1301 June, 2001, namely:- (i) In the said notification, - for serial number (8) and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be substituted, namely:- "(8) Shri Shailja Kant Misra, Member Inspector General of Police, under section 5(l)(bc)."; Mahanagar, Lucknow-226006 (ii) after serial number (22) and the entries relating thereto, the following serial numbers and entries shall be inserted, namely: - "(23) Shri Yogi Aditva Nath, Member under section 5(1 )(i).
