NOTIFICATION Maharashtra Underground Pipelines and Underground Ducts (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 2018. No. Sankirn-2023/C.R.107/A-2.—Whereas, it appears to the State Government that it is necessary in the public interest for carrying water from Bhama Askhed Dam, to Village Waki Turfe Wada Tal. Khed, District Pune to Water Treatment Plant at Chikhali for Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, an underground pipeline may be laid by the Municipal Corporation of the City of Pimpri Chinchwad (hereinafter referred to as “the said underground pipeline”) ; And whereas, it is necessary for laying the said Underground Pipeline to acquire the right of user in certain lands in the Navlakh Umbre, Jadhavwadi, Jambwade and Induri villages in Maval Taluka and Waki Tarfe Wada and Karanvihire villages in Khed Taluka in District Pune, more particularly described in the Schedule appended hereto (hereinafter referred to as “the said land”) ; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1), (4) and (5) of section 3 of the Maharashtra Underground Pipelines and Underground Ducts (Acquisition of Right of User in Land) Act, 2018 (Mah. XLIX of 2018), and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, the Government of Maharashtra hereby, in the public interest,— (a) declares its intention to acquire the right of user in the said lands for laying the said underground pipeline ; and (b) specifies that any person interested in the said land may, within a period of twenty- one days from the date of publication of this Notification in the Official Gazette, object to the laying of the said underground pipeline, in writing and shall set-out the grounds thereof, to the Sub-Divisional Officer, Khed and Sub-Divisional Officer, Maval-Mulashi, in District Pune within their respective jurisdiction, being the Competent Authorities under the said Act.
