Uttar Pradesh Shasan The Governor is pleased to order the publication of the following English translation of notification no. 1278/9-6-2020-06CV/2019, dated December, NOTIFICATION Lucknow : Dated : 93 December, 2020 WHEREAS Government notification no. 1876/IX-6-2019-06CV/2019, dated December 28, 2019 was published to invite objections and suggestions on the proposal for including the areas specified in the Schedule-I below in the smaller urban area of Municipal Council Mohammadi District Lakhimpur-kheri as required under sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Uttar Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1916 (U.P.Act no. 2 of 1916); AND, WHEREAS, no objection or suggestion has been received within the stipulated period. NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers under clause (2) of Article 243-Q of the Constitution read with sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Uttar Pradesh Municipalities Act, 1916 (U.P. Act no.2 of 1916), the Governor is pleased to include the areas specified in Schedule-I below in the smaller urban area of Municipal Council Mohammadi, District Lakhimpur-Kheri for the purposes of Part IX-A of the Constitution, and is further pleased to notify under clause (d) of Article 243-P of the Constitution that the area specified in Schedule-Il below shall be the territorial area of the said Municipal Council Mohammadi, District Lakhimpur-Kheri with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Gazette.
