Notification regarding the audio/ video electronic means

No.73/2024/F Noj M-17/2024-Home Section-Sectt.— In exercise of the powers conferred-under Section 2 (1) (a) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, read with Notification being S.0. No. 2506 (E), dated 28-06-2024 of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi, the Lieutenant Governor, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, hereby declares the audio / video electronic means as under \— 1. The audio / video proceedings recorded in the authorized mobile phone of the Police Officer (Designated by Director General of Police, A & N Islands); 2. The audio / video proceedings recorded in the authorized digital equipment including digital cameras, body-worn cameras, tablets or such other electronic equipment of the designated Police Officers; 3. The audio / video proceedings recorded in the automated CCTV cameras installed or located at various places within the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar or 4. Any such other electronic device(s) so authorized by the Police / Home Department of UT of Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
