Notification Declaring Eco Sensitive Area S.O. No. 2133(E) Amendment in Dahanu Taluka, Maharashtra

EXTRAORDINARY PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 2043] NEW DELHI, TUESDAY, MAY 9, 2023/ VAISAKHA 19, 1945 MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, FOREST AND CLIMATE CHANGE NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 9th May, 2023 S.O. 2133(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) section 3 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986), read with sub-rule (4) of rule 5 of the Environment (Protection) Rules, 1986, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the erstwhile Ministry of Environment and Forests, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), vide number S.O. 884 (E), dated the 19th December, 1996, namely:- In the said notification, after the paragraph 5, the following paragraph shall be inserted, namely :– "6. The Authority may invite experts or stakeholders, not exceeding five, for the purposes of assisting the Authority in deliberations and discharge of its functions on case to case basis and as deemed appropriate by the Chairperson of the Authority, with the approval of the Central Government."
