Government of Punjab Department of Industries & Commerce (Policy Implementation Unit) In pursuance to clause 9.3.2 of the Industrial & Business Development Policy-2017, the Governor of Punjab is pleased to notify the setting up of the unified Invest Punjab BusinessFirst portal for providing online facility for availing various regulatory clearances and fiscal incentives under the Industrial and BusinessDevelopment Policy 2017 notified vide No. CC/Addl. Dir/Industrial and BusinessDevelopment/2017/1369 dated 17-10-2017 and Notification No CC/Addl. Dir/Industrial and BusinessDevelopment/2017/1906 dated 22-12- 2017 regarding setting up of District Level Single Window System. a To increase transparency and eliminate / minimize physical touchpoints, it has been decided to replace multiple electronic interfaces by various regulatory departments and agencies providing services to the Industries through their lifecycle by setting up unified Invest Punjab BusinessFirst portal (www.pbindustries.gov.in) for providing robustonline facility for availing various regulatory clearances and fiscal incentives under the Industrial and Business Development Policy 2017. The portal would provide the facility for online application submission, payment, tracking and monitoring and downloading the final signed approval certificate from the Invest Punjab BusinessFirst portal. There would be no physical touch-points between the applicant and Department from the time of application process till the final decision. Applicants should not be physically present for submission and verification of documents before the certificate/ approval is issued. Notification(s) at every critical stages of application processing would be sent to the applicant through SMS / email. The applicationsfor services available on the Invest Punjab Business First Portal will be accepted online. All queries/clarifications related to investor's application submitted on the Invest Punjab Business First Portal would be sought only once within 7 days of receipt of the application.
