No. Nyayastha-1221/601/C.R.149/ DESK-11.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of section 3 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 (25 of 1955), in its application to the State of Maharashtra, and of all other powers enabling it in this behalf and in partial modification of all the earlier notifications issued in that behalf, in so far as they relate to the revenue tehsils of Wai, Khandala and Mahabaleshwar in Satara District, the Government of Maharashtra hereby, with effect from 14th January,2023, specifies the Court of Civil Judge, Senior Division at Wai in Satara District as having jurisdiction in respect of the matters to be dealt with under the said Act, within the local limits of ordinary jurisdiction of the Court of Civil Judge, Senior Division, Wai, established under the Maharashtra Civil Courts Act (XIV of 1869).
