No.84/2024/F. No. M/17/2024-Home-Section-Sectt.— In exercise of the powers conferred under Sub-Section (1) of Section 64 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, read with Notification No. 8.0. 2506 dated 28.06.2024 issued by Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi, the Lieutenant Governor (Administrator), Andaman and Nicobar Islands, hereby notifies that every Police Station shall maintain a Register (in respect of every person to whom summons by Courts are issued), for entering the following details :— Name of the Court and Designation by whom the summon is issued : Full name of the person summoned : Name of father / mother / spouse of the person summoned : Present address and Permanent address of the person summoned, if any, : Mobile Number (or any other telephone fax number / e-mail id) over which summon is being electronically served through various communication application (s) : Email address of the person summoned: Name of District, where the person summoned is currently residing: - Name of the Police Station, where the person summoned is currently residing, specifying the (@) First Information Report Number : (b) Case Registration Date : (c) Offences (under Section) : (d) Police Station; and Case Number Record (CNR Number) if any : A 'Remarks' column to include details such as the summon has been received by the addressee i.e. a double tick / blue tick for whatsapp or the message has been delivered.
