EXTRAORDINARY PART III—Section 4 PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY PUNJAB AND SIND BANK (Head Office) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 12th March, 2018 No. PSB/STAFF/OSR/2018.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 19, read with sub-section (2) of section 12 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1980 (40 of 1980), the Board of Directors of the Punjab & Sind Bank in consultation with the Reserve Bank of India and with the previous sanction of the Central Government, hereby makes the following amendments to the Punjab & Sind Bank (Officers’) Service Regulations, 1982, namely:— 2. Short title and Commencement.—(1) These Regulations may be called the Punjab & Sind Bank (Officers') Service (Amendment) Regulations, 2018 (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Punjab & Sind Bank (Officers’) Service Regulations, 1982, for sub-regulation (2) of regulation 6, the following sub-regulation shall be substituted, namely: “(2) For the purpose of categorization of posts under sub-regulation (1) every branch of the Bank shall be classified by the Bank in accordance with criteria to be approved by the Board of the Bank.” and Published by the Controller of Publications, Delhi-110054.
