(EXTRA.), JUNE 7, 2024 (JYST. 17, 1946 SAKA) 1651 la[;k 12- djuky 4 5 14- Eksokr 2 2 16- Ikyoy 4 4 17- iapdqyk 3 3 18- Ikkuhir 4 4 22- lksuhir 5 7A**A HARYANA GOVERNMENT EXCISE AND TAXATION DEPARTMENT Notification The 7th June, 2024 No. 15/X-l/P.A.1/1914/S.58/2024.— In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-sections (1) and (2) read with the proviso to sub-section (3) of section 58 of the Haryana Excise Act, 1914 (Punjab Act 1 of 1914), the Governor of Haryana hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Haryana Excise Rules, 2019, namely:- 1. (1) These rules may be called the Haryana Excise (Amendment) Rules, 2024. (2) They shall come into force on the 12th June, 2024. 2. In the Haryana Excise Rules, 2019 (hereinafter called the said rules), in rule 2, in sub-rule (1), after clause (c), the following clause shall be added, namely:- “(d) “excise policy year” means the year commencing from the 12th June and ending on the 11th June of the following year.”. 1652 HARYANA GOVT. GAZ. (EXTRA.), JUNE 7, 2024 (JYST. 17, 1946 SAKA) 3. In the said rules, for rule 6, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:- “6. Number of retail outlets for Indian Made Foreign Liquor/Country Liquor (L-2/L-14A).- The maximum number of retail outlets for Indian Made Foreign Liquor/Country Liquor (L-2/L-14A) shall be two thousand four hundred (2400) for the Excise Policy year 2024-2025.”. 4. In the said rules, for rule 7, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:- “7. District-wise wholesale outlets for IMFL/CL (L-1/L-13).- The maximum number of district-wise wholesale outlets for Indian Made Foreign Liquor/Country Liquor (L-1/L-13), for the Excise Policy year 2024-2025 shall be such as specified in Annexure-II.”. 5.
