No. VPM-2023/C.R. 01 /PR-4(22).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (g) of article 243 of the Constitution of India, read with section 4 of the Maharashtra Village Panchayats Act ( III of 1959), and of all other powers enabling it in this behalf, and in supersession of all the previous notifications or instruments issued in that behalf, and after consultation with the Standing Committee of the Zilla Parishad, Solapur and Village Panchayat and Gram Sabha Sinnur, in Akkalkot Tahasil of Solapur District, and on demand of villagers of Gandhinagar (Solase Laman Tanda) revenue village in Akkalkot Tahasil of Solapur District, the Governor of Maharashtra hereby specifies the 30th June, 2023 to be the date from which the local area comprising the revenue village of Gandhinagar (Solase Laman Tanda) in Akkalkot Tahasil of District Solapur specified in column (3) of the Schedule appended hereto, shall be the distinct village and shall be known by the name of the village Gandhinagar (Solase Laman Tanda), as specified in column (2) thereof, for the purposes of Part IX of the Constitution.
